In 2022, Blair left Imperial College's Biomedical Engineering department with a simple conviction: too many talented Chinese students were missing out on UK university places because they didn't understand how admissions actually work. The first year had just a dozen students. By 2024, it was 30+ IC Offers per season. By 2026 Fall: 66. Four years, 140+ Imperial College acceptances, 200+ personal statements personally crafted. She pioneered systematic BTV (Biomedical Technology Ventures) admissions guidance — the first to do it anywhere online — achieving a 100% interview invitation rate. From BME to MBE, BTV, and Design Engineering, she built a unified "Bioengineering admissions methodology" across four seemingly distinct programmes.
What she does best: spend two hours talking with a student, turn a vague "I'm interested in biomedical" into three compelling PS storylines, then weave them into a cohesive interview narrative.

From Imperial College Computing AI&ML to CMU's Machine Learning department to Jane Street — Tim's path spans the three trajectories CS applicants dream about most: elite academia, Silicon Valley research, and Wall Street quant. At Jane Street, he built high-frequency trading systems in OCaml, understanding "what code means in the real world." At CMU, he conducts Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning research, knowing "what the academic frontier is actually studying." This isn't credential stacking — it means he brings first-hand industry and academic experience directly into interview prep, so interviewers hear someone who genuinely understands the technology, not someone reciting memorized answers.
What he does best: transform "I want to study CS" into a technically deep application story — from PyTorch research projects to systems design thinking in the PS to algorithm live coding in interviews.
