Buy access once, or buy it again every year
The common model on comparable platforms is a single payment that buys 12 months of access, after which it lapses. With ours, the access itself does not expire; updates run for the first year, and everything already unlocked stays usable after that.
Figures come from the public list prices on comparable platforms, checked on 29 August 2026; prices can change at any time, so treat each provider’s own site as authoritative. The two models are priced on different bases: ours is per subject, theirs bundles every subject, so this table compares billing structure rather than headline price, and how many subjects you actually sit decides which works out cheaper. To be clear about our own limits: our one-off purchase also carries a one-year update window, after which no new papers or features are added. The difference is that what you already unlocked is not taken away, and the update window renews at £18 a year rather than requiring the whole purchase again.

A tutor is not what this replaces: students who need someone to talk them through a method often use both. The official free papers are always worth finishing first, which is why 2 papers per subject are free here.

Is it a one-off payment?
Yes. You pay once per subject — no subscription, no annual fee. Access itself never expires. Updates are included for one year from the date of purchase: any papers, features and AI diagnostics added during that year are yours.
What happens when the update year ends?
Everything you have already unlocked keeps working — the past papers, the mock papers and the features you had. What stops is the automatic inclusion of papers, features and AI capabilities released after that point. If you want to keep receiving them, the update window renews at £18 a year, through the same checkout as the original purchase and activated automatically on payment.
I bought before this change — does it affect me?
No. Anyone who purchased before this pricing change keeps the original terms, including updates for as long as the platform runs. Nothing is applied retroactively and there is nothing to renew.
What can I do without buying?
A free account gives you 10 questions a day per subject, each with a full solution and why the other options are wrong, plus 2 free papers per subject and full access to analytics and the review centre. Get used to the free allowance first, then decide whether to buy.
How do I unlock a subject?
Pick your subject and click 'Unlock now' to go to Stripe's secure checkout. Available payment methods are shown there based on your region and card. Access is activated automatically once payment clears — no manual confirmation needed.
What if I'm sitting more than one subject?
TMUA, ESAT and STEP can each be unlocked separately. Access is per subject, so you only pay for the subjects you're actually sitting.
Can I share my account with a classmate?
No. Your account and the subjects you have unlocked are for your own use only. Transferring, reselling, renting, lending or sharing an account breaches our terms; where we find it we cancel the results involved and suspend the account.
Can I get a refund?
Within 7 days of payment, if you have not submitted any paid paper or paid practice in that subject, you can have a full refund: email contact@frontierace.ai from the account email and we process it within 3 working days. Once paid content has been used the order is no longer refundable. The purchase is not a subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
